Two Modern Gypsies

Tourists in Paris and Versailles

Even though we were quite engaged with the bouldering in Fontainebleau, we had to spend some days as serious tourists in Paris. Christoffer’s mum was visiting us in Paris, so we left the mother ship for some days and stayed in an apartment with her. We also took the train from Fontainebleau to Versailles together with Miriam’s parents.

Can’t go to Paris without taking pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Not time to visit Pompidou this time, but the architecture of the museum is just as spectacular from the outside.

Our favorite part of Paris, Marais.

Outside of the concept store Merci.

Siw (Christoffer’s mother), Smula, and Christoffer are chilling outside the Louvre museum.

Taking the tourist role seriously: Shopping in Champs-Élysées and French duck with wine for lunch.

We went to Paris only a week after the fire in the Cathédrale Notre-Dame. The area around was still closed for public.

Everyone loves icecream! Easpecially Smula.

Beautiful Montmartre and Sacre Coeur.

Versailles

Miriam’s parents outside of the castle.

The famous Hall of Mirrors in Versailles.

The gardens in Versailles are stunning beautiful.

Smula, the skater dog.
