We have wanted to go to Monaco for a long time, and finally we got the opportunity. Monaco is the second-smallest state in the world (after the Vatican), only 2020 km2. We had a full day just walking around, watching yatchs and super expensive cars (Christoffer was in heaven)!
We took the train from Villeneuve-Loubet to Monaco, which took us about 45 minutes. We’re both big fans and followers of Jon Olssons vlog, who lives in Monaco, so it almost felt like we had been here before.
We started with a walk to the port, then to the Casino de Monte-Carlo. It’s possible for tourists to go inside sometimes, but we didn’t check it out, didn’t really feel comfy to enter such a luxury building. But it’s cool to have been here. After the Casino we went to the other side to Le Palais des Princes de Monaco and the Old Town. We loved this part of Monaco, all the small, cozy streets and nice people. It was very romantic and more calm to walk here compared to the other side.
Line, Miriam’s sister came to visit us for a week.
